Emerging from the frozen tundra of the Great North, MAX CHAOS crashes onto the global Nu-Metal/Metalcore scene with their ferocious debut single, “RIDE THE WAVE.” Released appropriately on Friday the 13th of June, 2025, this track is a bone-crushing prelude to their upcoming album, ORDER OF MAYHEM, a highly anticipated 11-track album, set to drop this fall. Co-produced by Max Chaos himself alongside the seasoned Dan McConomy (The Doughboys, Overdose, Agent Steel) and masterfully polished by Maor Appelbaum (Voivod, Dream Theater, Halford), “RIDE THE WAVE” is a meticulously crafted powerhouse.

The song and its accompanying video is a wild ride, seamlessly blending surreal reality with an animated alter ego. It’s a visual masterpiece, mirroring the album art and merchandise, all part of a larger narrative unveiled through a series of upcoming comic books, each based on a song from the album. MAX CHAOS doesn’t just play music; they embody an immersive experience. From the dark, imaginative visuals in their videos and album covers to their compelling merchandise and persona, the band invites you into Max’s ordeals.

Lyrically, “RIDE THE WAVE” is an anthem of rebellion against daily frustrations, resonating deeply with anyone who’s felt suffocated by life’s demands. Max’s raw vocal delivery, shifting from guttural growls to searing screams and soaring natural tones, brings the lyrics to life:

It’s just one of those days / Straight up filled with bullshit / I’m about to break from this nonsense / Everybody’s going wa wa wa / Complaining about nothing / Boss man screaming at my phone / This bitch is trying to tell me when I gotta be home / It’s like I can’t even breathe without a fucking note / You think you own me / But you fucking don’t.”

This unfiltered expression of pain, frustration, and madness is MAX CHAOS’s signature. Max explains, “I just woke up one day and figured out I had the ability to use my voice in different ways to express the pain, frustration, and madness that one goes through as a human being in this day and age. Then I headed straight to the studio and started doing it for real.”
Justin Kills‘s drumming provides a solid, slick foundation, bassist Karlos Doom (Medina from Evil Dead/ex-Agent Steel), provides a powerhouse addition to the band.

Veteran Dan McConomy of Bigger Management discovered Max Chaos online, recognizing Max poised to make a seismic impact. As McConomy states, “I found Max online…and just sensed this was the perfect band for the political climate happening right now and the frustration…Then I picked up the phone and talked to Max for 6 hours about his ambitions, his commitment, and how real a person he was. Convinced. The next day we were in the studio making magic.”

“RIDE THE WAVE” is a declaration for MAX CHAOS arrival to unleash a brand of no-holds-barred metal that demands your attention. Don’t just listen—ride the wave….
