Milan-based composer and guitarist Richard Green resurfaces with “Age of Dreams,” a captivating instrumental piece that stands as one of his most deeply personal works yet. Formally released on December 22, 2024, the track serves as a centerpiece for his EP First Light, the opening chapter of an ambitious music trilogy exploring the stages of human existence through childhood, adulthood, and legacy.
“Age of Dreams” adds classical piano with lush string quartet arrangements, creating contemporary sensibilities into a cinematic, world-class soundscape. The track offers a serene moment of reflection, tailored to transport listeners into a relaxing, dreamlike state. Green masterfully captures the boundless imagination and innocence of youth, a time when life feels filled with infinite possibilities.

Reflecting on the creation of the piece, Green shared details about its origin and production journey:
“I’ve composed all the music during my period in London, but this tune as the full music project was recorded at Studio Elfo, a very important and fantastic music studio in Italy, close to Piacenza, my hometown.”
His decade-plus spent studying and creating music in London clearly honed his artistic versatility. While Green recently experimented with high-energy electronic beats on his EP Electronic Therapy and the indie track “Warm Walls,” “Age of Dreams” highlights his profound command over neoclassical, acoustic compositions.
This release reinforces Green’s reputation as a composer capable of bridging vastly different musical worlds with emotional authenticity. Whether you need a tranquil escape or an inspiring addition to your daily soundtrack, “Age of Dreams” is a timeless listen that deserves a spot on your playlist.
