The EP opens with “Odysseus,” a track that immediately grabs attention with its atmospheric sound and standout guitar solo. The rhythm section is tight, driving the song forward with urgency and energy. The vocals, layered with harmonies, add depth to the track. Making it an engaging opener that sets the tone for the rest of the EP.

“Mission Control,” another highlight, showcases the band’s ability to blend introspective lyrics with catchy melodies. Lines like “The world keeps spinning, but I’m still standing still” reflect the struggle of finding one’s place in a fast-paced society. The polished production allows each element to shine, from the shimmering guitars to the punchy drums. Creating a dynamic and memorable listening experience.

As the EP progresses, “Closed Door Cinema” and “Only Hearts” explore darker tones. Both with melancholic keys and emotive vocals adding a heartfelt element. The 90s indie rock influence is evident, yet Blueprint Tokyo manages to make it feel fresh and relevant. The final track, “Transfer,” features powerful, scream-like vocals and guitar-heavy instrumentation.
