Monique never loses her passion for creating music that is deeply moving to the heart and soul of her audience, fueled by a lifetime’s journey as an artist from Ottawa, as a child through travels across Australia. On 3rd May 2024, she released her new single “Dreaming” which offers an idyllic escape from daily life while inspiring others to pursue their dreams.
Monique collaborated with HIGHWAY 9 PRODUCTIONS’ Sean Peter O’Sullivan on production and mixing, entrusting mastering duties at Crystal Mastering to Joseph Carra – together producing a rich audible genre complemented perfectly by Monique’s emotive delivery. Reflecting upon the inspiration behind the track she shares candidly;
“I wrote this song back when I was living in Australia – it felt like everything just flowed effortlessly out of me as if pre-destined”.
The lyrical theme delicately orchestrates glimpses into a blissful state of mind while navigating stresses or complications around oneself and beginning softly ticking along piano keys before exploring daydream-styled lyricism revealing ways not only to immerse yourself where one wants but also offer peace within challenges accompanying real-world experiences.
