Foer (pronounced Fur) announce the release of their debut single, ‘Navy SEAL’. Recorded in Manchester, it was produced and mixed by award winning producer Jim Spencer (The Charlatans, New Order, Beth Orton).The song is accompanied by a video, released on the same day, shot on location in Manchester, UK, self produced by ‘Foer’.
Foer, who consist of Swedish Fred Bjorkvall and Mancunian Geoff Gamlen both with eclectic backgrounds as a morse code signaller and a linguist, respectively, bring together a blend of indie folk and alternative pop, with a sound that has been compared to artists like Nick Drake, Jose Gonzalez, and Elliott Smith, with melancholic undertones that are sure to captivate audiences.
Foer have been honing their craft for years, performing in intimate venues in London and Manchester in the UK.
