New Album: Burna Boy Announces New Song “Big 7”

Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, has recently announced his upcoming album titled “I Told Them…” This album is set to be released on August 24 in the U.S. through Bad Habit/Spaceship/Atlantic Records. Along with the announcement, Burna Boy has also released an album trailer and a leading single called “Big 7,” accompanied by a visually stunning music video directed by Benny Bloom. The video features notable appearances from the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, Busta Rhymes, Junior Mafia, and actor Shameik Moore.

In addition to his album release, Burna Boy has achieved significant milestones in his career. Earlier this month, he made history as the first African artist to sell out a stadium show in the U.S., captivating the audience with an extraordinary performance at New York’s Citi Field. Furthermore, in 2021, he became the first Nigerian artist to headline Madison Square Garden, a renowned venue in New York City.

Burna Boy’s influence and collaborations extend beyond his solo work. In June, he contributed to London rapper J Hus’ album titled “Beautiful and Brutal Yard” and also released two versions of the single “Sittin’ on Top of the World,” with one version featuring 21 Savage.
