  • “This release was meant to try and capture a moment in time from my own experience in nature especially while walking at night under the stars. I think the melodies and atmosphere of this song is pleasant to the ears and tells a story within the song even though there are no lyrics.”Hakusho Demon.

Hakusho Demon, a post-rock ensemble, specializes in crafting emotionally evocative artistic expressions.

Their latest release, “Aura (Night Drive),” put in a nutshell the mystique of the cosmos and the enchanting beauty of midnight. Lasting 3 minutes and 34 seconds, this lyrical-less track exudes a cinematic, soundtrack-worthy essence, delivering an easy-listening, tranquil, and introspective atmosphere.

The song commences with a serene LOFI guitar line that gradually builds, supported by profound bass and drum arrangements, maintaining a harmonious and soothing flow throughout.

The band consists of Ross on guitar and song composition, along with Brian on bass and Matteo on drums. It’s interesting to note that Matteo and Brian are also part of Superbloom, a band with a dedicated fanbase.

The genesis of the band’s formation stemmed from Ross reaching out to Brian to record music at a studio in New York. Their musical influences, as stated by Ross, range from Nirvana and Explosions in the Sky to My Chemical Romance, reflecting diverse inspirations that contribute to their distinctive sound.

Since its release, “Aura (Night Drive)” has garnered considerable airplay on various radio stations, a testament to its resonance with audiences. We came across this remarkable release through Musosoup, integrated into the artist’s promotional campaign, further showcasing the band’s proactive approach to sharing their musical narrative.

This track’s allure lies in its ability to transport listeners on a contemplative journey through the night, evoking emotions tied to the vastness of the cosmos and the tranquility found in nocturnal experiences. The absence of lyrics allows for a more interpretative engagement, enabling each listener to paint their own emotional landscape while submerged in the immersive soundscape crafted by Hakusho Demon.
