Jeremy Rodriguez‘s “Christmas, Come On!” EP offers a unique holiday experience, comprising five songs that span 20 minutes and 20 seconds, with a Christian, cinematic, relaxing, nostalgic, jazz, and easy-listening ambiance. The EP opens with the title track, “Christmas, Come On!”, a compelling jazz-infused piece reflecting a classic holiday essence intertwined with modern allure, featuring the golden vocals of Jason Davidson. This joyful composition mirrors the timeless sounds of the holiday season, exuding an upbeat spirit conducive to festive celebrations.

Following suit is “I Wonder as I Wander,” a classic instrumental creation that offers a cinematic, easy listening experience, resonating with tranquil melodies and evocative instrumentals. This track encapsulates a mesmerizing ambiance, providing a space for contemplation and reflection.

The journey continues with an enchanting interpretation of “O Holy Night,” employing familiar classic-instrumental and easy-listening elements, alongside a cinematic approach. This rendition breathes new life into the beloved hymn, infusing it with a touch of elegance and timeless grandeur.

The EP’s penultimate track, “Peace on Earth,” emerges as a nostalgic, easy-listening masterpiece, enriched by the poignant vocals of Wendy Sightler Ferguson. This heartfelt creation delves into the wondrous story of the birth of Christ, enveloping listeners in a serene, introspective atmosphere, and invoking sentiments of reverence and gratitude.

Closing the EP is a serene, full instrumental piano version of the beloved classic, “Silent Night.” Infused with calm, tranquil energy, this rendition serves as a peaceful denouement, inviting moments of contemplation and unity, evoking a sense of peace and harmony.

Rodriguez has been growing his influence as a songwriter beyond his hit song “Christmas, Come On!”. “Peace on Earth” was originally featured on Back Porch Christmas, the fourth solo album by Doug Anderson (baritone from Ernie Haase & Signature Sound and Cana’s Voice). Rodriguez’s song “Crimson,” co-written with Alisen Wells and multi-Dove Award winner Jeff Baumgardner, was recorded by First Baptist Church – North Augusta.

The Erwins’ recording of “Still Telling My Story,” a song Rodriguez co-wrote with Dove nominee Kevin Winebarger, Wendy Sightler Ferguson, and Dove nominee Riley Harrison Clark, recently topped at number three on the Singing News Power 50 and number one on AFFIRM Southern Gospel Radio.
